I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
